Prof. Dr. Arjan te Pas is a neonatologist and researcher at Leiden University Medical Center’s neonatal intensive care unit. He has developed a bi-directional research program bridging clinical and laboratory work and specializes in translating experimental findings into clinical practice.
Prof. Te Pas invented the Concord resuscitation table to enable physiological-based cord clamping without compromising care for very preterm infants. This innovation led to the creation of Concord Neonatal BV in 2017
